Polyplas now has its new RATED-BRASS DOOR BELL in stock.
As you can see from the four coloured photos on the back of this page,
we have made some major improvements.  One of the main improvements
 is that we have changed how the whole housing is held together by now
BRAZE welding the main bracket that holds all the working parts to the
back of the main structure.  This has increased the strength ten fold and
will make for a longer lasting unit.

All Items are either brass and/or chrome plated to prevent any rusting.
We have also included a square key way at 150mm long, made out of
stainless steel.  This now avoids you having to purchase the key way
as a separate item.

We have had the new bell thoroughly tested by the CSIRO, using both
75mm and 150mm insulated panel (installed as if on a standard hinge
or sliding door).  Testing was conducted with the microphone
location at angles of 45, 90 and 135 degrees from the alarm bell,
all at a 3 metre distance.  All testing results were between 96.1 and
100.0 dB (A).  A copy of the CSIRO 4 page colour page is available
