Polyplas is the largest wholesaler in the Australian cold-room and insulated panel market. With over five hundred line item products, we have grown to be a reputable and significant supplier to a substantial customer base. Everything is carried in stock at our new 1200 square metre factory in Bayswater, Victoria, so we can always guarantee premium service. Most of our orders are dispatched within twenty-four hours using the fastest delivery systems possible.

Polyplas Pty. Ltd. came into existence in 1998, with Ned Braithwaite as director. Originally from rural New South Wales, Ned’s background is in the insulated panel industry and before taking the reins of Polyplas he spent eight years running a panel manufacturing plant in Victoria.

Since conception, Polyplas has expanded immeasurably, providing customers with a complete range of aluminium sliding / hinge door hardware. Almost every item needed to construct cold-rooms and freezers – everything from roof and wall suspension systems, door gaskets, right down to rivets, screws, silcon, etc. - is presently available. This growth has seen us make headway in the export markets, with clients in New Zealand, Malaysia and Hong Kong, as well as every state of Australia.

In December 2005, the company took a major step by becoming the sole industrial distributor of Gripple products in Australia and New Zealand, run under the moniker of Polyplas International. The company specialises in innovative new suspension systems, with Gripple hanger-systems used to support a wide variety of static loads. Originally operating from the UK, Gripple Inc. has expanded on a global scale, with offices in the U.S.A. and across Europe and over 300 million products have been sold in seventy-five countries throughout the world.

With this development, Sales and Marketing Manager Peter Luscombe joined the team. Having a background in industrial manufacturing and over a decade of marketing experience, he was more than qualified to head-up the new division, using his expertise to garner support for a product relatively unknown in this corner of the world.

From hanging small ducts and signs to out-fitting vast cold-storage distribution centres – from ten units to ten thousand units – there is no job too big or too small. Together, Polyplas and Gripple have formed a dynamic partnership and are all set to continue sharing their successes well into the future.
